Peacemaker Season 2 Set Photos Highlight John Cena’s Return

Peacemaker Season 2 is now on its way with newly shared set photos showing John Cena’s return as the titular peace-loving mercenary, also known as Christopher Smith.

After the first season debuted to positive responses from critics and audiences alike, the second season of James Gunn’s superhero series has been greatly anticipated by fans. The series follows Cena’s Peacemaker, a man who would fight at any cost in order to attain peace, even if it meant killing anyone who got in his way.

The second season, produced by DC Studios, will be set in the DC Universe. Production for the upcoming season began in April. Other details about Season 2, including the release date, remain under wraps. You can check out the set photos down below:

Peacemaker is written, directed, and created by Gunn, who also executive produces the series alongside Cena, Peter Safran, and Matt Miller.

The first season of Peacemaker premiered in 2022, serving as a spin-off to the 2021 film The Suicide Squad. The feature also starred Cena as the titular anti-hero opposite Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Idris Elba as Bloodsport, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, David Dastmalchian as Polka-Dot Man, and more.
