Donald Duck just turned 90, and his “birthday is all it’s quacked up to be.” To celebrate Donald Duck’s 90th anniversary, Disney+ has made two remastered classic shorts available for streaming along with an all-new short.
Donald Duck was first introduced to the world back in the 1930s with the animated short “The Wise Little Hen” and has since become one of the company’s mainstays. The arrogant and quick-tempered duck has been one of the most recognizable cartoon characters in history, joining a slew of popular Disney characters, including Minnie and Mickey Mouse.

90 years after Donald Duck made his iconic on-screen debut, the company commemorates his birthday with two remastered classic shorts — Crazy Over Daisy and Out on a Limb — now available for streaming on Disney+. In addition, the streaming giant has also released a brand-new short titled D.I.Y. Duck.

D.I.Y. Duck is an animated short following Donald Duck as he tries his hand at home repairs, which — as is always the case — ends with a chaotic outcome.
“Donal Duck’s efforts to replace a light bulb end in comic and catastrophic results,” the logline for D.I.Y. Duck reads.
On the other hand, Crazy Over Daisy follows Donald as he uses his bike to embark on an adventure to see the love of his life. Meanwhile, Out on a Limb sees the character as a tree surgeon tending to the trees that Chip and Dale use as storage for acorns.
