Award-winning executive producer Shonda Rhimes, the creator behind hit shows Grey’s Anatony, How to Get Away with Murder, and Scandal, recently teased what fans can expect from the Bridgerton Season 3 ending.

During a recent interview with The Today Show, Rhimes shared her reaction to watching the Bridgerton Season 3 ending, confirming that the conclusion to Colin and Penelope’s love story definitely made her emotional.

“We’re very secretive about it but I will say it is sexy and surprising in many ways,” Rhimes revealed. “And also, I cried at the end, I found it very moving — and I don’t always cry. So I really go into it.”
