As production continues on You Season 5, Deadline brings word that Netflix has welcomed four new cast members to the upcoming fifth and final season of the hit psychological thriller drama starring Gossip Girl vet Penn Badgley.
Natasha Behnam (The Girls on the Bus), Pete Ploszek (Parks & Recreation, Shameless), Tom Francis (Sunset Boulevard) and b (We Crashed, Station 19) have been tapped for recurring roles in You Season 5. Their complete character descriptions are listed below:
- Behnam is Dominique – While appearing to be an aloof hipster, Dominique is in fact a passionate, clever, fiercely loyal young woman. Despite her wealthy upbringing, she’s a headstrong caretaker among her scrappy artist friends.
- Ploszek is Harrison – Joe’s golden retriever brother-in-law. A former pro-football player and trophy husband to Reagan Lockwood, Harrison must balance the needs of his family with his own heart’s desires.
- Francis is Clayton – a pretentious, self-absorbed, wannabe author whose vindictive, controlling nature draws Joe’s attention.
- b is Phoenix – who’s shrewd and resourceful with a strong moral code. Their young life was upended by tragedy, setting them on a course that led to New York and a search for renewed purpose.
Who’s involved in You Season 5?
Based on Caroline Kepnes’ novel series, You centers around Joe Goldberg, a toxic and delusional stalker who has the tendency to become extremely obsessed with every girl he falls in love with. Joining Badgley in the final season are Charlotte Ritchie as Kate Lockwood-Goldberg, Madeline Brewer (The Handmaid’s Tale) as Bronte, Anna Camp (Pitch Perfect) as twin sisters Reagan and Maddie Lockwood, and Griffin Matthews (She-Hulk) as Teddy Lockwood.
You was developed by Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti, with Michael Foley and Justin W. Lo now serving as Season 5 showrunners. The series is produced by Berlanti Productions, Man Sewing Dinosaur, and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Scripted Television.
