And Just Like That Season 2 Teaser Reveals Release Window

Sex and the City Sequel Series And Just Like That Begins Season 3 Production

Production for the third season of And Just Like That — a sequel to the iconic Sex and the City series — has officially commenced, with Sarah Jessica Parker returning as Carrie Bradshaw. Max has shared the news through its official X (formerly Twitter) page, sharing a set photo with Jessica Parker as she steps into the all-new season.

The third season will, of course, mark the continuation of Carrie, Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis), and Miranda Hobbes’ (played by Cynthia Nixon) story as they navigate life in their 50s. You can check out the set image down below:

Who’s in the cast of And Just Like That Season 3?

Apart from the three main leads, other cast members expected to return for the third season include Evan Handler as Harry Goldenblatt, Mario Cantone as Anthony Marentino, David Eigenberg as Steve Brady, Cathy Ang as Lily Goldenblatt, Sarita Choudhury as Seema Patel, Sebastiano Pigazzi as Giuseppe, Nicole Ari Parker as Lisa Todd Wexley, and John Corbett as Aidan Shaw, among others.

Emmy-winning actress Rosie O’Donnell is confirmed to be joining the cast for Season 3 playing a character named Mary. Unfortunately, it was previously reported that Sara Ramirez and Karen Pittman would not be coming back for the upcoming season. The stars played Che Diaz and Nya Wallace, respectively.

The series is written, directed, and executive produced by Michael Patrick King.

“The new chapter of the groundbreaking HBO series follows Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s,” the synopsis for And Just Like That reads.

The first two seasons of And Just Like That are available to stream on Max. No release date has been set yet for the third season.
