Dexter’s Laboratory DVD Release Date Set for Cartoon Network Series

Did someone just order an omelette du fromage?

Cartoon Network’s Emmy Award-winning animated series, Dexter’s Laboratory, is finally getting a complete series collection on DVD, available for purchase on Amazon and at major retailers starting June 25, 2024.

Dexter’s Laboratory: The Complete Series, which is available for pre-order now, will include all six seasons and 78 episodes of one of Cartoon Network’s most beloved animated shows. The release will also feature The Dexter’s Laboratory: Ego Trip, giving fans a chance to revisit the chaotic tale of a boy genius with a secret laboratory filled with all of his impressive inventions.

Although bonus features seem to not be included in the release, this marks the first time Dexter’s Laboratory has received a full series disc. Per Amazon’s product description, the series follows the titular “half-Einstein and half third grader. This boy genius creates awesome inventions in the secret space-age laboratory attached to his room, but no genius is without trouble. Dexter’s space-brained sister, Dee Dee is always messing up his work, and his dorky rival, Mandark is constantly trying to one-up him. Time to fight fire with…science.”

Dexter’s Laboratory remains one of Cartoon Network’s legacy shows alongside The Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Johnny Bravo, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Ed, Edd n Eddy, and Courage the Cowardly Dog.
