Snowpiercer Season 4 Sets AMC Release Date for Final Chapter

After getting saved by AMC Networks from its TNT cancellation, the official release date for Snowpiercer Season 4 has finally been announced.

The final installment to the hit sci-fi drama is scheduled to make its debut on July 21, exclusively on AMC and AMC+. Prior to the new season’s premiere, the first three seasons of Snowpiercer will be available for streaming on AMC+ this June, with Seasons 1-2 releasing on June 1, while Season 3 arrives on June 8.

“We can’t wait to share the final season of this thrill ride of a series with this vibrant fan community and new viewers starting July 21 on AMC and AMC+, with plenty of time built in to catch up on previous seasons on a variety of on demand platforms and AMC+ before then,” AMC Networks executive Courtney Thomasma said in a statement. “Snowpiercer is an entertaining drama with a great cast and seeing how the ride ends will be a highlight of summer viewing worthy of a 1001-car train.”

Who’s involved in Snowpiercer Season 4?

Snowpiercer is based on the 2013 movie by Bong Joon-ho, who’s also attached as an executive producer on the project. The series stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Sean Bean, Rowan Blanchard, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Lena Hall, Sam Otto, Chelsea Harris, Mike O’Malley,Roberto Urbina, and Sheila Vand. Season 4 will also introduce Marvel vet Clark Gregg and The Americans’ Michael Aronov.

The series is executive produced by Paul Zbyszewski, Christoph Schrewe, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Alissa Bachner, Matthew O’Connor, Ben Rosenblatt, and Scott Derrickson, along with the original film’s producers Bong, Miky Lee, Jinnie Choi, Park Chan-wook, Lee Tae-hun and Dooho Choi. The show is produced by Tomorrow Studios and CJ Entertainment.
