According to Deadline, veteran TV actor Richard Kind, who’s best known for his roles shows like Mad About You, Spin City & Curb Your Enthusiasm, has officially joined the Only Murders in the Building Season 4 cast for the next installment of the acclaimed Hulu comedy.
In addition to Kind, Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent), Catherine Cohen (The Horror of Dolores Roach) and Jin Ha (Pachinko) have also been cast for recurring roles. Further details about their characters are still being kept wraps.
Only Murders in the Building Season 4 now in production
Only Murders in the Building centers around three strangers who share an obsession with “true crime” and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. The fourth installment will bring Martin Short’s Oliver, Steve Martin’s Charles and Selena Gomez’s Mabel to a brand new location, as the investigation leads them to Los Angeles.
The series also stars Michael Cyril Creighton, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Jackie Hoffman, James Caverly, Ryan Broussard, Tina Fey and more. Season 4 will also feature the return of Oscar winner Meryl Streep as she reprises Loretta Durkin. They will joined by new cast members Molly Shannon, Eva Longoria, Eugene Levy, Zach Galifianakis, Kumail Nanjiani, Desmin Borges, Siena Werber and Lilian Rebelo.
The series hails from co-writers and co-creators Steve Martin and John Hoffman (Grace & Frankie). It is executive produced by Martin, Hoffman, Short, Gomez, Jamie Babbitt, Dan Fogelman, and Jess Rosenthal.
