According to Variety, FX has enlisted eight new actors to join The Sensitive Kind cast for its upcoming Ethan Hawke-led drama pilot.
Kyle Maclachlan (Twin Peaks), Keith David (The Princess and the Frog), Jeanne Tripplehorn (The Terminal List), Tim Blake Nelson (Watchmen), Tracy Letts (Winning Time: Rise of the Lakers Dynasty), Macon Blair (I Care A Lot), Siena East (The Sex Lives of College Girls), and Scott Shepherd (The Last of Us) have been tapped to join Hawke, who’s set to portray a guy who “knows too much.” Further details about their characters are remained under wraps.
Who’s involved in The Sensitive Kind?
Described as Tulsa noir, The Sensitive Kind will be created and executive produced by Sterlin Harjo (Reservation Dogs), who is set as the writer and director on the pilot. It will be a part of Harjo’s overall deal with FX Productions. In addition to starring, Hawke will also be executive producing alongside Garett Basch. This marks Harjo’s second time working with Hawke, who appeared as a guest star on the coming-of-age dramedy Reservation Dogs, which lasted for three seasons from 2021-2023.
