The Office Showrunner & Nathan for You Co-Creator Team Up for New Series

The Office showrunner Greg Daniels and Nathan for You co-creator Michael Koman have teamed up for a new series set in the universe of The Office.

Variety has reported that Daniels and Koman will be co-creating a new series set in the universe of the iconic American version of the comedy series The Office. The show has yet to be greenlit and it still being developed at Universal Television after a development room for it was opened back in January of this year.

The outlet notes that the series would likely take place in a different office setting than Dunder Mifflin with entirely new characters. Little else is known about the show’s concept or story at this time.

Some of the other projects Michael Koman has worked on include Saturday Night Live, The Colbert Report, Late Night With Conan O’Brien, and Girls5Eva. He also co-created and wrote The Jack and Triumph Show.

Greg Daniels has also worked on Saturday Night Live, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Parks and Recreation, the Seinfeld episode “The Parking Space,” and more.
