According to Deadline, Chicago Med and Expats star Brian Tee has been tapped to join the Reacher Season 3 cast for the next installment to Prime Video‘s hit action thriller series, which is now currently in production in Toronto.
In addition to Tee, Johnny Berchtold and Roberto Montesinos have also boarded the show as series regulars, while Daniel David Stewart has been cast for a recurring role. Listed below is the complete character descriptions for their roles:
- Tee’s Quinn is a physically imposing and intimidating character. He was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army whom Reacher investigated ten years ago when he sold military secrets to hostile nations.
- Berchtold’s Richard Beck – a sensitive and artistic college student who lost his mother when he was young and is the only son of businessman Zachary Beck. Five years ago, he was the victim of a traumatic kidnapping that left him mutilated.
- Montesinos’ Guillermo Villanueva – is a DEA agent on the verge of retirement. He is the mentor and father figure of Agent Susan Duffy. Paunchy with bad knees and a good-natured sense of humor, he loves and cares about Duffy even though they bust each other’s chops all the time.
- Stewart’s Steven Ellio is a clean-cut rookie DEA agent. He is a lovable guy who’s fresh-faced, new to the job and still learning.
What to expect in Reacher Season 3?
Reacher Season 3 will be based on the 7th book in Lee Child’s global best-selling series, Persuader. It will feature Alan Ritchson’s Jack Reacher going on an undercover mission to rescue an informant held by a haunting foe from his past. The next installment will also introduced Anthony Michael Hall and Sonya Cassidy as series regulars.
The series is executive produced and written by showrunner Nick Santora. In addition to starring, Ritchson is also executive producing alongside Child, Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Matt Thunell. It hails from Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and Paramount Television Studios.
