Disney+ has announced the release date for BBC Studios Kids & Family and Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s first Bluey special titled, “The Sign.” The special will premiere a week after the “Ghostbasket” episode’s premiere on April 7.
Set as the popular animated series’ longest episode ever, the 28-minute special will debut on Sunday, April 14 on Disney+, Disney Junior, and Disney Channel globally and on ABC Kids in Australia. The episode hails from writer Joe Brumm and director Richard Jeffery.
What is Bluey about?
“The series follows the adventures of a lovable and inexhaustible Blue Heeler puppy who lives with her Dad, Mum and little sister, Bingo. It showcases the joyful simplicity that can be found in families, by bringing to life how children learn and grow through play,” reads the synopsis.
Bluey is an Australian animated preschool series which became a global favorite among kids and even adults. It also features the voices of David McCormack and Melanie Zanetti as Bluey and Bingo’s parents. It is created and written by Brumm and produced by multi-Emmy Award-winning Ludo Studio in association with Screen Queensland and Screen Australia.
