Only Murders in the Building Season 4 Adds Eva Longoria To Cast

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria will be joining the cast of the upcoming fourth season of Hulu’s comedy-mystery series Only Murders in the Building. The actress, who just made her feature directorial debut with Flamin’ Hot, will reportedly join the Season 4 cast in a recurring role.

Like the majority of shows, production for Only Murders in the Building stalled due to the now-resolved SAG-AFTRA strike. But while Hulu is yet to confirm the exact release date for the fourth season of the hit series, other details about Season 4 were recently unveiled, such as Molly Shannon joining the cast, a new filming location, and Meryl Streep’s return. Meanwhile, Longoria’s character description remains close to the vest.

What can we expect in Season 4?

The forthcoming fourth season of the Hulu television series is expected to delve deeper into the murder case of Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch). On the other hand, Deadline previously reported that the crime-solving trio of Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short), and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez) will kick off the season with a trip to Los Angeles before returning to their apartments in The Arconia.

The synopsis for Only Murders in the Building reads: “Three strangers share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. When a grisly death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio suspects murder and employs their precise knowledge of true crime to investigate the truth. Perhaps even more explosive are the lies they tell one another. Soon, the endangered trio comes to realize a killer might be living among them as they race to decipher the mounting clues before it’s too late.”

All three seasons of Only Murders in the Building are available to stream on Hulu.
