Ahead of the upcoming release of the sixth season of The Conners, the first five seasons of the hit ABC sitcom will be arriving on Netflix this March.
According to What’s on Netflix, Seasons 1 through 5 of The Conners will make its Netflix streaming debut on March 27. Some of the series that have recently arrived on Netflix have been breaking streaming records, with CBS’ Young Sheldon and USA Network’s Suits becoming two of the streaming service’s top-performing television shows.
Of course, The Conners may have some bigger shoes to fill, but considering its status as a widely popular ABC sitcom, it may not come as a small surprise if the series will receive the same success.
When is The Conners Season 6 coming out?
Initially announced to premiere this fall, the sixth season of The Conners will air its new episodes on ABC on February 7 and will stream the next day on Hulu. Earlier this year, The Conners actress and executive producer Sara Gilbert revealed in an interview with Looper that Season 6 of The Conners will be a “very exciting” season for fans.
“Yeah, we got a really good one coming up that I can’t say yet, but I think it’ll be very exciting for people. And then we have some of the fan favorites that we’ve had before. Sean Astin’s coming back. And we have Estelle Parsons, who’s 96 now, who plays my grandmother. She flies in from New York and just comes in and slays it here. She’s so funny and brilliant and young-seeming and I don’t know, we’re all trying to get her secrets,” said Gilbert.
“After a sudden turn of events, the Conner family is forced to face the daily struggles of life in a way they never have before. This iconic family continues to demonstrate that laughter, conversation and love can overcome anything,” the official synopsis for The Conners reads.
Aside from Gilbert, who portrays Darlene Conner-Olinsky, The Conners also stars John Goodman as Dan Conner, Laurie Metcalf as Jackie Harris-Goldufski, Lecy Goranson as Becky Conner-Healy, Michael Fishman as D.J. Conner, and Emma Kenney as Harris Conner-Healy, to name a few.
