A major star is returning for Only Murders in the Building Season 4, as Meryl Streep has been revealed to be reprising her role from the third season.
Deadline has reported that Streep will once again be playing the part of Loretta Durkin in the fourth season of the hit Hulu mystery series. In Season 3, Streep’s character was an aspiring actress that lands a role in the newest musical from Oliver Putnam (played by Martin Short). She goes on to become his love interest and a suspect in that season’s murder investigation.
Streep is the second actress to sign on for Season 4 this week, as Molly Shannon was reported to be part of the next installment just yesterday. Additionally, a temporary change in location was also revealed.
Created by John Hoffman and Steve Martin, Only Murders in the Building follows three neighbors as they use their mutual obsession with true crime podcasts to investigate and solve crimes in their Upper West Side apartment building in New York.
