The Only Murders In the Building Season 4 cast has added a star to its ranks, as former SNL cast member and The White Lotus star Molly Shannon has joined the show.
Deadline has reported that Shannon will be part of a season-long arc for the series. Though no character name was revealed, the outlet’s sources say that she will play a “high powered L.A. business woman who finds herself drawn into the world of the investigation in N.Y.”
Story details for the upcoming season are scarce, but it’s known that the show’s main trio will apparently head to Los Angeles at the beginning before returning to the Arconia building in New York.
The series’ synopsis reads: “Three strangers share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. When a grisly death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio suspects murder and employs their precise knowledge of true crime to investigate the truth. Perhaps even more explosive are the lies they tell one another. Soon, the endangered trio comes to realize a killer might be living among them as they race to decipher the mounting clues before it’s too late.”
