The cast of The White Lotus Season 3 continues to expand, as five more actors have joined the popular HBO series for its new season.
Variety has reported that Zone of Interest star Christian Friedel, as well as Miloš Biković, Morgana O’Reilly, Shalini Peiris, and Lek Patravadi will be part of the cast of the series’ third season. It’s been a busy period for The White Lotus Season 3 news, with a couple of other casting announcements also being made just recently.
Production on the third season will begin next month, with filming set to take place in Bangkok, Phuket, and Ko Samui. As for the story, little is currently known about the plot of The White Lotus Season 3.
The White Lotus has been a smash hit for HBO. Season 1, which was filmed in Hawaii, received 11 nominations at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, winning five, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series. Season 2, which was filmed in Italy, secured 12 nominations at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, with nine cast members being recognized in the acting categories.
