It has been confirmed that Ahsoka Season 2 is in the works after the first season‘s conclusion this past October.
On the official Star Wars website, series creator Dave Filoni was confirmed to be developing Ahsoka Season 2 in addition to the Star Wars movie he is set to helm. The ending of the first season teased further stories involving the titular character, her allies, and the villainous Grand Admiral Thrawn, meaning the second season will likely follow up on these loose ends.
This wasn’t the only major piece of Star Wars news to drop today, as in the same post, a movie based on The Mandalorian was also confirmed and given a title.
Ahsoka was written and executive produced by Dave Filoni, best known for his work on the fan-favorite Star Wars animated shows The Clone Wars and Rebels. Set within the same timeline as The Mandalorian, Season 1 revolved around the titular Jedi’s quest across the galaxy as she investigates an emerging threat following the fall of the Empire.
