According to Deadline, Emmy winners Christine Baranski (The Good Fight, The Gilded Age) and Annie Murphy (Schitt’s Creek) have joined the Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 cast for the upcoming next installment to Hulu’s psychological thriller drama.
Besides Baranski and Murphy, singer-songwriter King Princess and Lucas Englander (Transatlantic) have also been tapped for series regular roles. They will be playing the respective roles of Victoria, Imogen, Tina, and Martin.
What to expect in Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2?
Nine Perfect Strangers is created by David E. Kelley and John-Henry Butterworth. It is executive produced by Nicole Kidman, who plays the role of a wellness guru named Masha. The outlet notes that Kidman is still in negotiations with Hulu for her acting involvement in Season 2. The four new cast additions will be joining previously announced series regulars Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus) as Brian, Dolly de Leon (Triangle of Sadness) as Agnes, Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Jagged Mind) as Wolfie, and Aras Aydin (Escape) as Matteo.
“Set in the Swiss Alps, Season 2 will follow a new batch of ine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living with a 10-day star at a boutique wellness resort run by the resort’s director Masha (Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine “perfect” strangers have no idea what is about to hit them,” reads the synopsis.
