Prime Video has unveiled a new poster for the midseason finale of Invincible Season 2. It shows the two main characters — Mark Grayson and his father Omni-Man — as they reunite to turn against each other once and for all.
The first season of Invincible centers on the 17-year-old boy Mark Grayson (voiced by Steven Yeun) who soon discovers he has superpower abilities similar to those of a superhero. Still coming to terms with his new-found powers as well as what it truly means to be a hero, Mark trains to utilize his abilities under his father’s guidance.
What is Season 2 about?
His father, Nolan Grayson (J.K. Simmons), turns out to be a ruthless villain all along. After finding out about his dad’s betrayal, Mark rebuilds his life while facing numerous threats and his own personal evil: becoming like his father.
The synopsis for Invincible Season 2 reads: “In Season 2, still reeling from Nolan’s betrayal, Mark struggles to rebuild his life as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear – that he might become his father without even knowing it.”
