Mandy Patinkin leads in first-look photos from Hulu’s Death and Other Details, which is an upcoming murder-mystery series set amongst the global elite and is set to debut on Tuesday, January 16.
The series is “set amidst the glamor of the global elite,” per the official synopsis. It “centers on the brilliant and restless Imogene Scott (Violett Beane), who finds herself in the wrong place/wrong time (okay, it was kinda her fault) and becomes the prime suspect in a locked room murder mystery. The setting? A lavishly restored Mediterranean ocean liner. Suspects? Every pampered guest and every exhausted crew member. The problem? To prove her innocence, she must partner with a man she despises – Rufus Cotesworth (Patinkin), the world’s greatest detective.”

Who is in the cast of Death and Other Details?
Along with Patinkin, who is known for playing Saul Berenson in the Showtime drama Homeland and Beane (The Flash), the cast includes Lauren Patten (Blue Bloods), Rahul Kohli (The Fall of the House of Usher), Angela Zhou (Sugergirl), Hugo Diego Garcia (Sentinelles), Pardis Saremi (Hell of a Summer) and Linda Emond (Only Murders in the Building Season 3).
The series is produced by ABC Signature. It’s written and executive produced by Mike Weiss and Heidi Cole McAdams, who also serve as showrunners. Marc Webb directed the pilot and executive produces for Black Lamb. Mark Martin also serves as executive producer.
