Two series at Paramount+ — the Kiefer Sutherland-led Rabbit Hole and the thriller series Fatal Attraction — have been canceled after one season.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed that both series have been canceled at Paramount+ but will remain on the platform instead of being entirely removed. This is in reference to how services like HBO Max and Disney+ have completely removed some original series and movies to cut costs.
“Fatal Attraction and Rabbit Hole will not be returning for second seasons on Paramount+,” a Paramount+ spokesperson said in a statement. “We want to thank both series’ entire creative teams, crews and the fantastic casts for their dedication to bringing these series to life. Both Fatal Attraction and Rabbit Hole will continue to be available on Paramount+ for audiences to discover.”
What were Rabbit Hole and Fatal Attraction about?
“In Rabbit Hole, John Weir (Sutherland), a master of deception in the world of corporate espionage, is framed for murder by powerful forces who have the ability to influence and control populations,” reads the show’s synopsis.
“A deep-dive reimagining of the classic psychosexual thriller and ’80s cultural touchstone, the new series will explore fatal attraction and the timeless themes of marriage and infidelity, through the lens of modern attitudes towards strong women, personality disorders, and coercive control,” reads Fatal Attraction’s description.
