After last increasing in October 2022, the monthly price for Apple TV+ has been increased approximately 42%.
The price of Apple TV+ has been hiked from $6.99 to $9.99 per month, with the annual price increasing from $69 to $99. The price increase will hit current subscribers to the streaming platform 30 days after on the next billing renewal date.
“Since launching four years ago, Apple TV+ has made history for streaming services by crossing major milestones in a short span of time, thanks to its extensive selection of award-winning and broadly acclaimed series, feature films, documentaries, and kids and family entertainment,” a spokesperson said in a statement (via Variety).
Apple TV+ originally cost $4.99 a month when it first launched in 2019 and wasn’t increased until last October. This makes the recent price hike the second one in a year,

Some of the popular original shows available on Apple TV+ include Ted Lasso, the Brie Larson-led Lessons in Chemistry, The Morning Show, Severance, For All Mankind, Invasion, Mythic Quest, and Pachinko. Upcoming series include Masters of the Air, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Criminal Record, and The Buccaneers.
