Sweet Magnolias Season 4 is confirmed at Netflix, which will consist of ten episodes. The news comes several months after Sweet Magnolias Season 3 debuted in July.
Despite the delay, Deadline notes that the renewal was never in doubt and held back because of logistics related to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
What’s Sweet Magnolias About?
“Sweet Magnolias follows lifelong best friends Maddie (JoAnna Garcia Swisher), Dana Sue (Brooke Elliott), and Helen (Heather Headley) as they juggle relationships, family, and careers in the charming small town of Serenity, SC,” per an official description.
The cast also includes Logan Allen as Kyle Townsend, Anneliese Judge as Annie Sullivan, Carson Rowland as Tyler “Ty” Townsend, Justin Bruening as Cal Maddox, Chris Klein as Bill Townsend, and Jamie Lynn Spears as Noreen Fitzgibbons.
Sheryl J. Anderson serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Dan Paulson and Sherryl Woods. Norman Buckley and Matt Drake co-executive produce. Sweet Magnolias is a Daniel L. Paulson production.
