According to Collider, Comedy Central has finally set the streaming debut of Digman! Season 1, an animated comedy from Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Andy Samberg. The sitcom will be available for streaming on Paramount+ starting on December 6.
The news comes over five months since the adventure comedy wrapped up its 8-episode first season. Comedy Central has already granted Digman! a second season renewal.
What is Digman?
“Archaeologist Rip Digman faces constant peril as he and his team excavate legendary treasures in ancient ruins for the sake of preservation and their own legacies,” reads the logline.
Digman! is created by Samberg and Neil Campbell, who is also serving as the showrunner. The half-hour long comedy will take place in a world where archeologists are superstars with huge followings. It is executive produced by Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina, with Ali Bell producing. It hails from CBS Studios and Titmouse.
It feature the voices Samberg, Melissa Fumero, Mitra Jouhari, Tim Robinson, Dale Soules, Guz Khan, and Tim Meadows. The Season 1 guest-star lineup includes Daniel Radcliffe, Maya Rudolph, Jane Lynch, Clancy Brown, Andy Daly, Cole Escola, Harvey Guillén, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Marc Evan Jackson, Rachel Kaly, Kerri Kenney, Lauren Lapkus, Mike Mitchell, Kyle Mooney, Claudia O’Doherty, Lennon Parham, Paul Rust, Jason Schwartzman, Carl Tart, Joe Lo Truglio, and Edgar Wright.
