Daredevil star Vincent D’Onofrio has commented on today’s news about the Marvel Studios series Daredevil: Born Again being overhauled.
In a tweet made by D’Onofrio in response to another Twitter user, the actor revealed his thoughts on the news, stating that “every cool project” he’s done has had frequent evolutions during pre-production, production, and post-production. He notes that it’s not big news and that these changes are simply “a bunch of creatives doing their best to get it right,” before finishing by saying he’d be “worried if we were settling for less.”

Ahead of today’s announced overhaul, Daredevil: Born Again was previously described as an 18-episode revival of the original, which ran for three seasons. It will feature the return of leading stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, as they reprise their respective roles as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.
Have Daredevil and Kingpin appeared in the MCU after the Netflix show?
Both characters made their Marvel Cinematic Universe debuts in 2021. Kingpin guest-starred in the Disney+ Hawkeye series, and Matt Murdock briefly appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Cox also guest-starred in two episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, where he showed off a lighter side of the hero.
