Emily in Paris Season 4 Filming Date Tentatively Set

With the WGA strike officially over and SAG-AFTRA preparing to meet with the AMPTP in the coming week, Netflix’s hit series Emily in Paris is tentatively beginning plans to begin filming its fourth season next year.

According to a recent report from Variety, the series is eyeing January as a start date for when the project can resume filming. The report notes that both Emily in Paris and Prime Video’s Etoile are both looking to begin filming in France ahead of the Olympic Games, which are set to take place in July 2024.

Emily in Paris was initially scheduled to begin filming earlier this year at the Cité du Cinema studios, but from November the studios are booked for the Olympic Games, so the series will instead pivot to a different studio to film at.

What is Emily in Paris about?

Emily in Paris focuses on an ambitious marketing executive from Chicago who unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris when her company acquires a French luxury company. Emily’s new life in Paris is filled with intoxicating adventures and surprising challenges as she juggles winning over her work colleagues, making friends, and navigating new romances.

The series stars Lily Collins (Love Rosie), Ashley Park (Tales of the City), Philippine Leroy Beaulieu (Call My Agent), Lucas Bravo (Smart Ass), Samuel Arnold (Antony & Cleopatra), Camille Razat (The 15:17 to Paris), and Bruno Gouery (Doc Martin). The recurring cast roster includes Kate Walsh, William Abadie, and Arnaud Viard.

Emily in Paris is created and executive produced by Darren Star, creator of popular classics such as Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, and Sex and the City. Producers are Collins and Andrew Fleming along with Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns of Jax Media.
