The Angus Cloud cause of death has been confirmed after the Euphoria star’s tragic passing at the young age of 25.
What was Angus Cloud’s cause of death?
Variety confirmed with the Alameda County Coroner’s Office that Angus Cloud died from an accidental overdose of fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine. The coroner’s office stated that the cause of death was, “acute intoxication due to combined effects of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl and benzodiazepines.”
“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,” a statement from Cloud’s family on July 31 said. “As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways. Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.”
Cloud had played Fezco in the acclaimed HBO series Euphoria as well as the character Walker in 2021’s North Hollywood and Robert DeWitt in this year’s The Line. He was part of the cast of 2024’s Untitled Universal Monsters film and had already shot the upcoming films Freaky Tales and Your Lucky Day.
