ComingSoon is excited to debut a Futurama clip from the upcoming “Rage Against The Vaccine” episode.
The seventh episode of Hulu’s Season 11 will premiere on September 4 and features a new pandemic ravaging future earth called “Explovid-3022.” Our clip features the Planet Express crew using a Zoom-like app to work remotely during the pandemic. Naturally, plenty of issues occur, including Professor Farnsworth becoming a teddy bear.

What is Rage Against The Vaccine about?
“In the year 3022, New New York finally declares victory over Covid-2019. There’s a large celebration in Central Park, which turns into a super-spreader event for an all-new virus, Explovid-3022… a virus that causes extreme ANGER (anger at masks, vaccines… pretty much everything),” says the episode summary.
“Various solutions are proposed, such as wearing masks… over your ears, in order to avoid hearing things that make you angry. The Professor valiantly invents a vaccine that works using 5G chips to track the virus, but conspiracy theories arise and people refuse to take it.
“Meanwhile, one crew member, Hermes, has an entirely different theory: He believes the virus is actually a rare form of Zombyism that can only be cured using a unique form of voodoo still practiced in New New Orleans. It will be a dangerous trip there, but he undertakes it. As the world descends into chaos, Hermes takes a disorderly fight-flight to New New Orleans and probes the most mysterious corners of the city, where he encounters his arch-rival, Barbados Slim. It will be up to them to combat both the virus and general hysteria and bring peace back to the world.”
Created by Matt Groening & David X. Cohen, Futurama stars John DiMaggio, Billy West, Katey Sagal, Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr, and David Herman.
