What to Expect in Fallout?
Fallout is based on the video game franchise that debuted in 1997. Set in a post-apocalyptic future, Fallout depicts the aftermath of a nuclear war where society is forced to seek shelter underground in vaults. Fallout draws inspiration from a future imagined by Americans in the 1950s. A teaser trailer was shown at Gameson 2023, and the footage revealed the dusty, barren wasteland and Vault 33.
Fallout’s ensemble cast includes Walton Goggins, Ella Purnell, Kyle MacLachlan, Xelia Mendes-Jones, and Aaron Moten.
Fallout is developed and written by Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as showrunners. Joy, Nolan, Robertson-Dworet, and Wagner serve as executive producers alongside James Altman, Todd Howard, and Athena Wickham. Fallout stems from Amazon Studios in association with Bethesda Game Studios, Bethesda Softworks, and Kilter Films.
