The Yellowjackets Season 2 DVD release date has been revealed by Paramount, with the physical release of the ten-time Emmy-nominated series coming later this year.
When does Yellowjackets Season 2 release on DVD?
According to Paramount, the Yellowjackets Season 2 DVD release date is set for October 10, 2023, when the series will arrive with all nine episodes.
Included on the DVD will be a handful of bonus features, including a behind-the-scenes look at all nine episodes of Season 2, a cover of “No Return” by Alanis Morissette, and a mini-documentary called “Creating Yellowjackets,” which will cover the process of coming up with the show.
“Equal parts survival epic, psychological horror story, and coming-of-age drama, it tells the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness,” reads the series’ synopsis. “The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over.”
Yellowjackets stars Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Steven Krueger, and Warren Kole. Season 2 also featured the introduction of Emmy-nominated actress Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under, Servant) as adult Van Palmer, Simone Kessell (Obi-Wan Kenobi) as adult Lottie, and Elijah Wood as citizen detective Walter.
Yellowjackets is created and executive produced by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. Executive producers are Drew Comins, Karyn Kusama, and Jonathan Lisco, who is also serving as the showrunner. It is produced by Entertainment One.
