A new batch of Heartstopper Season 2 photos for Netflix‘s coming-of-age dramedy has been released, teasing the introduction of new supporting characters who will join Kit Connor’s Nick and Joe Locke’s Charlie in the next chapter.
The photos also feature a new look at the returning cast, including Sebastian Croft’s Ben Hope and Yasmin Finney’s Elle. Season 2 will start streaming on August 3 with eight new episode.
What to Expect in Heartstopper Season 2?
“In Season 2, Nick and Charlie navigate their new relationship; Tara and Darcy face unforeseen challenges; Tao and Elle work out if they can ever be more than just friends…Plus there’s exams, a school trip to Paris, and prom!” reads the logline.
Heartstopper is led by Kit Connor as Nick, Joe Locke as Charlie, Yasmin Finney as Elle Argent, Corinna Brown as Tara Jones, William Gao as Tao Xu, Kizzy Edgell as Darcy Olsson, and Tobie Donovan as Isaac Henderson, and more. Olivia Colman is also returning as Nick’s mother in the next season.
Season 2 will also feature new cast members Leila Khan as Sahar Zahid, Jack Barton as Nick’s older brother David Nelson, Bradley Riches as James McEwan, and Nima Taleghani as Mr. Farouk, along with Bel Priestley as Naomi, Ash Self as Felix, and Thibault de Montalembert as Nick’s father Stephane.
Based on Alice Oseman’s graphic novel series of the same name, Heartstopper is written and created by Oseman, with Euros Lyn serving as director; the series is produced by See-Saw Films.
