A new teaser trailer for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon previews the Norman Reedus spin-off, which will debut on AMC later this year.
The short video, which is titled “The Abbey,” shows Reedus reprising the titular role and offers a glimpse at some of the intrigue that’s to come in the six-episode horror series.

“Daryl washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why,” according to the logline. “The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home.”
Melissa McBride will join Reedus in the spinoff, returning to her role as Carol Peletier. Other cast members include Clémence Poésy, Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebouaney, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi, and newcomer Louis Puech Scigliuzzi.
David Zabel will serve as showrunner and executive producer of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. Producers on the series include Reedus, Scott M. Gimple, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang, and Daniel Percival.
