The Last of Us Season 2 production date window for HBO’s hit horror drama has been revealed by lead star Bella Ramsey. Speaking with Vanity Fair, Ramsey confirmed that HBO is currently aiming to start production on the highly-anticipated next installment “as soon as the end of this year.” It’s unclear if the ongoing WGA strike would impact Season 2’s potential filming start since casting was recently delayed by it.
Ramsey also teased what viewers should expect to see in The Last of Us Season 2, confirming a much darker story than the first one. “It’s really a story about revenge, and a continuation from the first season about the dangers of unconditional love,” they said.
