The official release of His Dark Materials Season 3 on HBO Max is upon us.
In a matter of hours, the streaming service will drop the conclusive episodes of Lyra Belacqua’s adventures. Here’s when to watch the upcoming third and final season of His Dark Materials.

When to Watch His Dark Materials Season 3
HBO Max will release the first installments in His Dark Materials Season 3 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Monday, December 5. The episodes are titled “The Enchanted Sleeper” and “The Break.” In the United States, HBO Max will release two new installments every week until December 19. Fans in the United Kingdom can watch His Dark Materials Season 3 starting December 18, with new installments debuting weekly.
Based on Philip Pullman’s fantasy trilogy novel series, His Dark Materials centers around a brave young woman from another world. The final season will see Lyra and Will travel through multiple worlds to find and protect each other.
“In the final chapter of this epic fantasy series, Lyra, the prophesied child, and Will, the bearer of The Subtle Knife, must journey to a dark place from which no one has ever returned,” reads the synopsis. “As her father’s great war against the Authority edges closer, they will learn that saving the worlds comes at a terrible price.”

Season 3 will feature the return of Dafne Keen, Amir Wilson, Ruth Wilson, Simone Kirby, Will Keen, Jade Anouka, Ruta Gedmintas, James McAvoy, and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The list of new cast members includes Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jamie Ward, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Simon Harrison, Chipo Chung, and Amber Fitzgerald-Woolfe.
