United States of Tara on Showtime is a dark comedy series about Tara (Toni Collette), who lives with Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder). She has a loving husband and supportive kids, but with no one knowing which version of Tara they will get when they wake up, each day is a different adventure for this family. In season three, Tara returns to college and signs up for a course in abnormal psychology.
