Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again has received a new working title, as well as a production company with an on-the-nose reference to the character.
A recent report from The Cosmic Circus reveals that the upcoming working title for the series will be “Out the Kitchen,” with the production company “Blind Faith Productions, LLC.” also associated with the show. The working title is an obvious reference to Daredevil’s home of Hell’s Kitchen in New York City, but could also be hinting at the fact that perhaps Daredevil will be leaving his home, as he did in the recently released She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
This isn’t the first time that Marvel Studios has chosen a bit of a funny working title for its shows. In fact, the company is known for often choosing working titles that have hints as to what the show might contain, with the upcoming X-Men ’97‘s working title being “Teen Spirit” in reference to the Nirvana song released in the same year the original X-Men cartoon premiered.

The planned Wonder Man series has a reported working title of “Callback,” a reference to the comic book character’s history as a stuntman, and Agatha: Coven of Chaos‘ working title, “My Pretty,” is a nod to The Wizard of Oz, and the fact that the series will delve into the world of the witches in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Daredevil: Born Again will stream on Disney+ in the spring of 2024. Both Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will return to the series as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin respectively.
