What Are the Critics Saying about Swagger?

With an approval rating of 84% on Rotten Tomatoes and an average audience score of 89%, critics seem to have given Swagger a big thumbs up.

The Hollywood Reporter’s Angie Han says, “A lesser show might buckle under the weight of all such heavy-duty issues. But while Swagger does wobble here and there, it handles most of these plot points as deftly as its characters do a ball.”

Brian Tallerico from The Playlist is impressed by how the show manages to become an ensemble drama, “One of the greatest strengths of Swagger is how much it avoids becoming just about Jace, turning into more of an ensemble drama than other creators would have allowed, detailing how the lives of people around young talents can be just as interesting.”
