House of the Dragon Episode 4 is going to be a red-hot affair.
After airing the first three episodes of the George R.R. Martin-produced series, the Game of Thrones prequel is already praised by fans and critics worldwide. At the end of the day, people just want to see compelling stories with politics and dragons. Here’s when to expect the new chapter in the fan-favorite show.
When to Watch House of the Dragon Episode 4
House of the Dragon Episode 4 will air on HBO and HBO Max at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Sunday, September 11. “King of the Narrow Sea” is the name of the next installment, which will see Clare Kilner behind the camera. The series will drop weekly episodes until the Season 1 finale, set to go down on October 23. Fans can be sure they will see more Westeros drama in the following years, as HBO has already renewed the show for a sophomore season.
Set 300 years before Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon follows the rise and the downfall of the Targaryens. Judging from the images released from Episode 4, the critical situation between king Viserys I Targaryen (Paddy Considine), his daughter Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy/Milly Alcock), and his brother Daemon (Matt Smith) won’t deescalate anytime soon. Despite Viserys’ efforts, it seems the remaining members of the dragonlord family aren’t willing to put their egos aside and talk peace. The fact that Viserys had a son from his new wife and another one is on his/her way doesn’t help.
