WWE announced on Thursday that McAfee has signed a multi-year extension with the company, where he’ll continue to serve as an analyst. Since April 2021, McAfee has served alongside Michael Cole during the Friday Night SmackDown broadcasts.
Besides his role as an analyst and commentator, McAfee also steps into the ring from time to time, which he’ll do at the upcoming WWE SummerSlam, where he’ll face off against Happy Corbin.
McAfee’s WWE career began in 2018 when he began doing analyst work during NXT TakeOver events. This eventually transitioned into a spot in the ring in July 2020, where he faced off against then-WWE superstar Adam Cole in a match at NXT TakeOver XXX. From there, McAfee would go on to move to the SmackDown brand, where he continue as an analyst.
