Stranger Things Season 4 Photos Show Murray With a Flamethrower

Following the release of the latest trailer for Stranger Things Season 4 Vol. 2, Netflix has released a new batch of photos from the trailer, showcasing some of the cast members in a big battle.

The new images come from the official Netflix Geeked Twitter account, and showcases four characters — Max Mayfield, Eddie Munson, Murray Bauman, and Nancy Wheeler — all either getting ready for, or participating in, a huge battle, with Murray fighting off something with a flamethrower while Nancy brandishes a shotgun in what looks to be the Upside Down.

Stranger Things is set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. When a young boy vanishes, a small town uncovers a mystery involving secret experiments, terrifying supernatural forces, and one strange little girl.

Recently, Stranger Things Season 4 set a record for Netflix, having been viewed for more than 287 million hours during the week of May 23-30. That’s not only good enough for the top spot of the week for Netflix, but it’s also more than enough to break the record for the streaming platform’s biggest-ever premiere weekend for an English-language series, which was previously held by Season 2 of Bridgerton (193 million hours).

Stranger Things is created and executive produced by Matt and Ross Duffer, who also serve as showrunners. Executive producers are Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and Iain Patterson.

Season 4 Volume 1 is now available for streaming exclusively on Netflix.
