Montana (Good Girls) will appear in the series alongside Anthony Ramos, Lyric Ross, and Dominique Thorn. His role in the series is being kept under wraps as of now, so it’s unclear just who he’ll be playing. Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes will be directing the series, with Ryan Coogler’s Proximity attached as one of the production companies.
Thorne’s Riri Williams is described as “a brilliant teenager who, in the comics, built her own version of the Iron Man suit in an MIT dorm.” In the comics, she sometimes takes over for Tony Stark as Iron Man. The character the series is based on was created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Mike Deodato, and first debuted in Invincible Iron Man Vol. 2 #7 in 2016.
Thorne will first see her character arrive in the Marvel Cinematic Universe during the highly anticipated sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
