According to Deadline, Reid, known for her work in Euphoria and A Wrinkle in Time, will portray Riley Abel. Riley plays a seminal role in Ellie’s development and history, as seen in The Last of Us: Left Behind, an expansion from the first game that jumps between events set during the campaign and the past. The DLC was met with high praise. Riley was also in The Last of Us: American Dreams, the prequel comic penned by Faith Erin Hicks and Neil Druckmann.
