Emily in Paris Renewed for Two More Seasons at Netflix

Netflix has officially decided to renew Darren Star’s comedy-drama Emily in Paris for two more seasons.

The Season 3 and Season 4 renewal comes after nearly three weeks since the Lily Collins-led series had made its return. According to the streamer, the second season has been dominating the Global Netflix Top 10 list across 94 countries. For its first five days, it has been streamed for over 100 million hours.

“In Season 2, now more entrenched in her life in Paris, Emily’s getting better at navigating the city but still struggling with the idiosyncrasies of French life,” reads the official logline. “After stumbling into a love triangle with her neighbor and her first real French friend, Emily is determined to focus on her work — which is getting more complicated by the day. In French class, she meets a fellow expat” — aka Alfie — “who both infuriates and intrigues her.”

Emily in Paris focuses on Emily (Collins), an ambitious twenty-something marketing executive from Chicago, who unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris when her company acquires a French luxury marketing company — and she is tasked with revamping their social media strategy. Emily’s new life in Paris is filled with intoxicating adventures and surprising challenges as she juggles winning over her work colleagues, making friends, and navigating new romances.

The recurring cast roster includes Kate Walsh, William Abadie, and Arnaud Viard.

Emily in Paris is created and executive produced by Darren Star, the creator behind popular classic shows such as Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, and Sex and the City. Producers are Collins and Andrew Fleming along with Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns of Jax Media.
