Echo, which was also announced during the event, will star Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, a character that will be introduced in Disney+’s upcoming Hawkeye series. In Marvel Comics, Echo — the adoptive daughter of the Kingpin — is a deaf woman who possesses not only the ability to perfectly copy other people’s movements but is also a highly capable martial artist and acrobat. The logo for her series can be seen below:

As for Ironheart, Disney+ also shared the logo for the series, which features the name of the character in the foreground and an iron heart in the background. The upcoming series will see Dominique Thorne playing Riri Williams, who is a young genius that invents an impressive suit of armor that is similar to Iron Man.

Her character is a newer one in the Marvel canon as she was created in 2016 by Brian Michael Bendis and Mike Deodat. In the comics, she’s a 15-year-old MIT student that gets noticed by Tony Stark. With Stark’s death in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the show will have to take a different route.
