Season 5 of Riverdale came to an end this week, but news regarding the future of the show quickly came out soon after, as Kiernan Shipka (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) announced that she would be appearing on the sixth season of the series.

Taking to Instagram shortly after the Season 5 finale aired (via Deadline), Shipkan teased her arrival as Sabrina Spellman into the world of Riverdale, showing her sitting on a chair on what looks to be the set of the sixth season of Riverdale. She’s also dressed up in her typical Sabrina outfit, so it looks as if things are going to get a bit more magical when Riverdale returns in November.

“We’ve been talking about having Sabrina visit Riverdale since Season one, so it’s thrilling that this is finally happening, as part of our Rivervale special event,” said executive producer and creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (via People). “It’s also perfect that she shows up to help Cheryl Blossom during her hour of greatest need.”
KJ Apa stars as Archie Andrews in the series along with Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, and Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom. The series also stars Mark Consuelos, Casey Cott, Skeet Ulrich, Mädchen Amick, and Vanessa Morgan.
