Netflix has debuted first-look photos for Eric Newman’s upcoming limited drama series titled True Story, which will be available for streaming on November 24. The True Story photos, which you can check out in the gallery below, providing us with our first glimpse at Kevin Hart and Wesley Snipes’ dramatic performances as each other’s brothers. This marks Hart’s first major scripted drama series and is expected to portray a fictionalized version of himself.

True Story is a 7-episode dramatic limited series that hails from executive producer Narcos and Narcos: Mexico showrunner Eric Newman, who also serves as the writer. Joining Hart and Snipes are awny Newsome, Will Catlett, Paul Adelstein, Theo Rossi, Ash Santos, John Ales, Chris Diamantopoulos, Lauren London, and Billy Zane.
The official synopsis reads: “A tour stop in Kid’s (Hart) hometown of Philadelphia becomes a matter of life and death for one of the world’s most famous comedians when the consequences of a lost evening with his wayward older brother (Snipes) threaten to destroy everything he’s built.”

True Story is a production by Hartbeat Productions, with Hart set as an executive producer. It is produced by Caroline Currier from Grand Electric, and Mike Stein & Tiffany Brown from Hartbeat Productions. It is directed by Stephen Williams and Hanelle Culpepper, with Williams also serving as an executive producer.
