According to a recent report from Deadline, the streaming company picked up a second season of the show, making it the first Roku Original to get renewed after it acquired a handful of Quibi shows when the streaming service ended. The second season of the series will be titled Die Harter and will stream on the free, ad-supported Roku Channel service.
Hart will return as the star of the show and continue to executive produce it, but the rest of the cast is unannounced as of now. The original season featured John Travolta, Nathalie Emmanuel, Josh Hartnett, and Jean Reno, but it’s unknown if any of them will be returning for the second season.

The first season of Die Hart saw Hart playing a comic actor who wants to become an action star instead of just a comic sidekick. In order to do that, he begins training in some of the finer points of being an action hero. According to Roku, the show displayed an incredibly strong weekend debut as part of the reason for its renewal, with “a record number of households streaming the series” when it made its way to Roku.
