CBS Studios’ Horror Drama Evil Season 2 May Head to Paramount+

It has been more than a year since Evil had wrapped up its 13-episode first season on CBS, and it looks like creators Robert King and Michelle King’s hit supernatural drama might be moving on from linear broadcast to streaming soon. According to Deadline, negotiations are currently in place for the upcoming Evil Season 2 to officially shift to Paramount+. Circulating reports say that a final decision will most likely be revealed at ViacomCBS’ upfront presentation on Wednesday.

The Katja Herbers and Mike Colter-led horror drama’s imminent move to streaming shouldn’t come as a surprise as its debut season had performed much better on digital than on its broadcast ratings, especially when it launched on Netflix last fall. Should this new shift to streaming pushes through, this would mark the third CBS drama this year that has moved to Paramount+ following SEAL Team and Clarice.
