Scott (Damnation) would join Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn in the show named after one of the most iconic comic book stories ever told. The 35-year-old most recently played Rob Reilly in Dublin Murders and DI Eric Wardle in C.B. Strike. There’s no word yet on what role Scott would play in the show.
The upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series, which was first announced in September and confirmed to be an adaptation of the comic storyline in December, will see Jackson reprising his role of former S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury alongside Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, pseudo-leader of the Skrulls. Jackson as Fury has been a mainstay of the MCU and a source of connective tissue between many of the films. Mendelsohn is reprising his role from Captain Marvel as well as Spider-Man: Far From Home‘s post-credits scene, in which he was revealed to be impersonating Fury throughout the film.
